Terms of use

TitleCheck arranges human searches of land registry and related records in Nigeria. Creating an account is free and does not buy a search.

A verification starts only after you submit a request and Paystack confirms the fee for the tier you chose. The fee is the price stored for that state and tier at the time you submit.

The report describes records found on the search date. It is not a guarantee of title, not proof that a seller can transfer the land, and not a substitute for independent legal advice.

You confirm that you have a lawful reason to upload the documents and that the contact person knows we may call them. You must not upload a document you are not entitled to share.

We may refuse or refund a case that we cannot search, including where the registry will not produce the file. Refunds, when made, go back through Paystack.

Staff notes are internal. You see the status of your case and the customer summary we choose to publish.
